After learning about a cancelled miniseries from writer Scott Lobdell and artist Denis Medri, comic fans were screaming the lyrics to Billy Idol's 1983 anthem “With a rebel yell more, more, more.” Medri, the artist on “Red Hood/Arsenal” (also with Lobdell), posted a potential cover on his Instagram account today, showing a look at the proposed “Batman: Rebel Yell” comic.

Not much is known about the story, other than the fact that Lodbell pitched the series to DC in early 2016. The series was inspired by Medri's fan art, in which he draws Batman's cast of characters in a rockabilly style.
This early style of rock and roll music combined country with rhythm and blues. The most famous musical artist in this style is some guy named Elvis Presley. Johnny Cash, Roy Orbison and Jerry Lee Lewis also helped bring the music to the mainstream in the 1950s.
The creative team has reportedly yet to receive any feedback on their proposal. The cover released was one of six mock covers Medri drew. One can only imagine what kind of adventures Bruce Wayne and his gang could have had, Daddy-O.
