When DC launched its “New 52” initiative back in 2011, there was one duo that quickly shot to the stratosphere of popularity: The “Batman” creative team of writer Scott Snyder and artist Greg Capullo. Snyder and Capullo produced some of the most critically-acclaimed Batman stories in recent years, and over the course of their five-year run built one heck of a creative relationship. Well, as promised, the team will unite once more for something big at DC - and, yes, it will include Batman…significantly.

Snyder has announced that he and Capullo will reunite for a DC summer event series, launching in 2017, that's set to be bigger than anything they've done before.
Snyder told Newsarama at this years New York Comic Con that the book will be “very Batman-centric, and very rock n' roll.” He didn't provide any other information, but the announcement alone is enough to get fans excited about what's to come…
