Back in 2015, Telltale Games announced a partnership with Marvel Comics to adapt some of the publisher's characters into new video games in the Telltale mold. While things have been relatively quiet on that front over the 18 months, we did always know the effort was targeting a 2017 release. We still had no idea what that property could have been, but we did know when it might be coming at least. In that same time, Telltale has gone on to continue its Walking Dead series and add Batman to its stable.
Now thanks to a recent release from SAG-AFTRA, we might have an even better of what characters might step into one of Telltale's adventures next. As it turns out, 2017 might not just be a great year for Guardians of the Galaxy on the big screen, they may be getting a full-fledged video game to boot.
