For those of you who might not be familiar with it, Voltron is a giant robot made up of robot lions, probably best known for being compared to the Wu-Tang Clan on their classic debut album Enter the Wu-Tang (36 Chambers). But --- and this might surprise you --- it seems that there was also a television series in the mid-80s, and now, it's set to be revived by Dreamworks Animation for a thirteen-episode Netflix Original.
The series has been in development for a while and is scheduled for a release later this year, but if you can't wait, get to Anaheim for WonderCon tomorrow to see some new footage.
